1. Who we are

This Privacy Policy applies to foodoga.com and is issued by Foodoga, an online store for bakery raw materials, ingredients, tools and packaging, operated from Shop No. 2, S. No. 83, Pushpa Sugandh Building, Wing-M, Manik Moti Housing Complex, Near Reliance Digital Mall, Katraj, Pune, Maharashtra 411046, India. For any privacy questions, contact [email protected].

2. Information we collect

• Account information: name, email address, phone number, password (stored hashed) and, if you sign in with Google, your Google account email, name and profile picture.
• Order information: shipping address, billing address, items ordered, payment status (we do not store full card numbers), order history.
• Communications: messages you send us via email, WhatsApp or the contact form.
• Technical data: device type, browser, IP address, pages visited and basic analytics events, collected via cookies and analytics tools.

3. How we use your information

• To create and authenticate your Foodoga account.
• To process, fulfil and deliver your orders.
• To send order confirmations, shipping updates and customer-service messages on WhatsApp, SMS or email.
• To improve our products, website and customer experience.
• To send marketing communications, only if you have opted in.
• To comply with legal obligations under Indian law.

4. Google User Data

Foodoga's use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

When you click "Continue with Google" on foodoga.com, Foodoga requests only the following OAuth scopes from Google:

• openid — to identify your Google account.
• https://www.googleapis.com/auth/userinfo.email — to read your primary email address.
• https://www.googleapis.com/auth/userinfo.profile — to read your name and profile picture.

We use this Google user data only to:

• Create or sign you into your Foodoga account.
• Pre-fill your name and email on your profile, orders and invoices.
• Show your name and profile picture inside your own Foodoga account UI.

We do not access Gmail, Google Drive, Google Calendar, Google Contacts or any other Google user data. We do not sell Google user data. We do not use it for advertising, and we do not transfer it to third parties except as needed to provide or improve the Foodoga sign-in feature (for example, our authentication infrastructure provider, Supabase), to comply with applicable law, or as part of a merger, acquisition or sale of assets with notice to you. We do not use Google user data to train any generalized or non-personalized AI/ML models.

Google user data is stored encrypted at rest and in transit on our authentication infrastructure (Supabase, hosted in the EU/AP region). It is retained for as long as your Foodoga account exists. You can revoke Foodoga's access to your Google account at any time from your Google Account permissions page, or by emailing [email protected] to delete your Foodoga account, which removes all Google user data we hold about you.

5. Sharing your information

We do not sell your personal data. We share limited information with trusted partners only to operate Foodoga and fulfil your orders:

• Authentication & database: Supabase (hosting account and order data).
• Identity providers: Google (only if you choose Sign in with Google).
• Payments: Razorpay.
• Logistics: Delhivery, Shiprocket and similar courier partners.
• Communication: WhatsApp Business API (Meta), email and SMS providers.

All partners are bound by confidentiality and process data only on our instructions.

6. Cookies

We use cookies to remember your cart, keep you signed in, and measure traffic. You can disable cookies in your browser, but some features (cart, checkout, Sign in with Google) may not work.

7. Data security

We use HTTPS/TLS encryption in transit, encryption at rest, hashed passwords, OAuth 2.0 for Google sign-in, and role-based access controls to protect your data. No method of transmission is 100% secure, but we follow industry best practices.

8. Your rights

You can request a copy, correction or deletion of your personal data — including any Google user data — at any time by emailing [email protected]. We respond within 30 days.

9. Children

Our services are not directed to children under 18. We do not knowingly collect data from minors.

10. Changes to this Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The latest version, with its "Last updated" date, will always be available at this URL.
